The initial development phase of Cedar Phoenix is complete. We're now starting to look at the new features and functionality that we want to add to the site. All of the new features that will be developed will be determined by our community of users. This is your opportunity to make this site as you want it to be!
Ideas that we currently have are:
- Provide e-commerce facilities for every user. If you have a product to sell, you should be able to create that product and sell it on a Cedar Phoenix marketplace. No matter how small or large your product is. Our goal at the moment is to offer this as a free service to our members. As more and more members take up this offer we can negotiate for lower transaction fees from whichever payment service provider we choose.
- Provide SCRUM project management facilities. Sometimes, when you have a goal in mind, it helps to breakdown the project into smaller tasks. To help you find the people with the skills you need to complete your idea, the project will be listed in a new "Projects" area of Cedar Phoenix. Members will be able to list their skills and you will be able to find matches between the skills that you need and the skills that members possess. Everyone will be able to see how the projects are progressing and discuss solutions to any issues.
- Course booking software. Maybe you don't have a product to sell, or a project to run. Instead you have a valuable skill that will enable others to complete their goals. If you want to run a course, Cedar Phoenix will provide a facility where you can advertise your course and members can book their place on it.
Cedar Phoenix aims to be a community driven site, your ideas and inspiration will be very important.
