It's late in 2009, what an incredible year it has been. For the first time in my life I haven't had a job for a year. When I look back and remember 2009 there have been plenty of lessons for me, some small and some large, some easy ones to learn and some that have touched me very deeply.
I've met a lot of amazing people this year from all walks of life and all "social classes". I've learned who my friends are and seem to be making progress in learning that I don't have any enemies but I feel that one of the most important things I came across this year was on a thread in the David Icke Forums where the contributors to that thread were trying to work out how to use some of the functionality available on the forum.

The thread began with somebody complaining that people would often quote a long post in a reply and then just add a "+1" or another suitably inane comment. Over the next 200 posts something amazing started to happen, Co-Operation, instead of people arguing and complaining about a fairly negative opening post, the posters started to post their knowledge of how to achieve things on the forum, the "atmosphere" of the thread changed and the posters became more enthusiastic about trying out new things.
Posters started to work together, encouraging others to increase their knowledge, humbly expressing support for other posters who were struggling to work things out, just through the written word. For me it was an example of how we can achieve so much more when we co-operate with each other.
